Deadpool & Wolverine: Ryan Reynolds Thanks Dafne Keen For Her Contribution To The Film

Ryan Reynolds has been on a thanks-giving spree to all those who made Deadpool & Wolverine possible, and especially those actors who appeared in special cameo roles in the film that elevated the overall movie watching experience for us.

The latest recipient of the flowers given out by the actor is Dafne Keen, who returned to the Marvel universe as her character X-23 from 2017's monstrous hit, Logan. In the post that can be found below, Reynolds can be seen highlighting her importance in the Shawn Levy directorial and how surreal it was for him to see Keen stand alongside Hugh Jackman's Logan/Wolverine variant. In addition to that, he also briefly mentioned that he and Shawn Levy had been spending time with the Star Wars: The Acolyte Star while editing the film as well as in the dubbing studio.

Reynolds' Wade Wilson and Jackman's Logan/Wolverine character become trapped in the Void, an interesting "metaphysical scrapyard" where alternate realities are discarded by the Time Variance Authority. After encountering Cassandra Nova, the villainous twin sister of Professor X, played by Emma Corrin in this peculiar place, they decide to join a rebel group in the borderlands. Wesley Snipes (as Blade), Jennifer Garner (as Elektra), Dafne Keen (as X-23), and Channing Tatum (as Gambit) make up the diverse Resistance team drawn from long-forgotten franchises. (Notable characters who have passed away offscreen include Magneto, Daredevil, Quicksilver, and the Punisher.)
